Multifunction

A multifunction printer, also called an all-in-one or MFP, combines a printer, scanner and copier in one device, and some models also fax.

An ink tank all-in-one such as an Epson EcoTank is a great home choice, because it prints in colour at a very low cost per page and scans and copies too.

If one part fails, you may lose printing, scanning and copying at the same time, and all-in-ones take more space than a basic printer.

Wireless printers are easier to share with phones and laptops, while a wired network connection is more stable in busy offices. Many models offer both.
