Printing

A laser multifunction printer is the most common office choice, because it prints fast, scans and copies, and has a low cost per page for documents.

A compact multifunction printer with Wi-Fi covers most home offices. Choose laser for mostly text documents, or an ink tank model if you also print in colour.

Both are excellent. Epson leads in EcoTank ink tank printers with a very low cost per page, while HP is strong in laser and business printers.

A printer with a scanner, often called a multifunction or all-in-one printer, can print, scan and copy, and some models also fax.

For offices a laser multifunction printer with an automatic document feeder saves time, while for homes an ink tank all-in-one offers cheap colour printing and scanning.
