Plotters

A plotter prints large format documents such as architectural plans, engineering drawings, maps and posters, usually in A1 and A0 sizes.

A plotter prints on large rolls of paper, up to 24 or 36 inches wide, while a normal office printer prints on A4 or A3 sheets.

For CAD drawings, the HP DesignJet T series and Epson SureColor T series are both popular. Choose 24 inch for A1 drawings or 36 inch for A0.

They cost more than office printers, take more space and use large format ink and paper, so they suit offices that regularly print large drawings.
