Door Phones

A door phone is also called an intercom or a door entry system. Models with a camera are called video intercoms or video door phones.

It is a door station with a camera outside and an indoor screen inside, so you can see and talk to visitors and open the door remotely.

Choose a system with a clear HD camera, a large indoor screen and phone app access. Hikvision video intercoms offer 2-wire and Wi-Fi options for homes and buildings.

For most homes a video intercom with a 7 inch indoor touchscreen and a single-button door station is ideal, and 2-wire models reuse existing cabling.

It depends on the number of apartments, the door station and the indoor screens. A single-home video intercom costs far less than a modular system for a building.
